SUSTAINABILITY
AMOY NEW YORK is dedicated to a sustainable future. Our signature dresses are made out of recycled polyester or dead stock fabric. We are also a made-to-order brand to limit excess inventory and waste.
Our packaging is FSC Certified. It is made from 100% recycled materials, and is 100% compostable, and curbside recyclable.
Who We Are
AMOY NEW YORK is an independent womenswear label based in New York City. Our goal is to create timeless pieces that are both chic and stylish.
Timelessness is a pillar of our design and manufacturing process. We believe that one of the most sustainable actions you can do is rewear your clothes, so we strive to create pieces that stand the test of time.
Our Suppliers
Our clothes are made in a luxury factory in China, honoring our Chinese heritage and supporting local craftsmanship. Located near one of our founder’s hometowns, this partnership allows us to maintain a close, transparent relationship with our Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers. We prioritize building a local supply chain to reduce unnecessary transport emissions and ensure fair wages and ethical treatment of our workers.
Our Materials
Recycled Polyester
Turning waste into wear — we love the story behind our recycled polyester. Our supplier transforms post-consumer plastic bottles into new yarn, thereby diverting waste from landfills. Compared to virgin polyester, this process cuts emissions by around 50%, according to Carbonfact. It's one of our steps toward a more circular fashion future.
Organic cotton
Organic cotton feels good — on the skin and on the planet. We exclusively use GOTS-certified cotton, the world’s leading standard for organic textiles. This ensures environmentally and socially responsible practices from farm to factory, verified through rigorous third-party certification. Cleaner soil, safer farms, and more trust in every thread.
Deadstock fabric
There’s so much beauty in what already exists. We source premium deadstock fabrics from California — leftover rolls that would otherwise go to waste. By giving them new life, we reduce textile overproduction and promote circularity. Each piece is limited-edition, with a story as unique as the fabric itself.
TENCEL Modal
Soft as silk, strong on impact. TENCEL™ Modal fibers are derived from wood pulp in responsibly managed forests, using a closed-loop process. Compared to conventional modal fibers, they require 50% less water and emit 50% less CO₂. Blended with recycled polyester and a touch of stretch, they offer comfort with a conscience.
ECOVERO Viscose
Flowy, flattering, and future-minded. LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose is made from FSC-certified wood and cuts CO₂ emissions and water usage by at least 50% when compared to conventional viscose, according to the HIGG MSI. We pair it with recycled nylon and spandex for soft, sustainable movement.
Silk
Sometimes, timeless elegance calls for silk. For a few special pieces, we use 100% silk for its natural sheen and drape. While not our core fiber, we are committed to sourcing it responsibly and using it sparingly within a thoughtful, long-lasting design.
Our Packaging
Recycled Polybags
Our protective poly bags are made entirely from 100% pre-consumer recycled resin, giving manufacturing waste a second life. They’re compliant, durable, and significantly reduce reliance on virgin plastic. A smarter way to safeguard your pieces — without compromising the planet.

FSC Certified Recycled papermailers
Our paper mailers are FSC Certified, plastic-free, and curbside recyclable. Made for soft goods and bulky apparel, they’re strong, flexible, and expandable — all while keeping packaging waste low and impact even lower.

The Future
Sustainability at AMOY NEW YORK is a journey, not a destination. We're committed to continuously learning, improving, and reducing our impact on both the planet and people. From materials to packaging to production, we’re building a future where every decision is made with intention — and responsibility.
